About our Artistic Director
Bob Ringham,
a photojournalism graduate of Southern Illinois University,
has been Director of Photography for the Courier-Post, (Cherry Hill, NJ)
for five years. Previously, he was a staff photographer at The Chicago
Sun-Times for thirteen years, the Daily Herald (Arlington Heights, Il.)
and The Pantagraph (Bloomington, Il.).
Bob is the recipient of the Courier-Post 1999 Publisher's Award for
Excellence. Between 1980-1990, he received 75 photo awards in the
Chicago area and was runner-up Photographer of the Year 1982, for best
portfolio. In 1984, he was recipient the Peter Lisagor Award.
He has been Photo Editor on two books: The Battleship USS New Jersey
from Birth to Berth, 2001, and The History of the Chicago Stadium.
Ringham's photos have been published in the Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago
magazine, Newsweek, People magazine, New York Times, Seattle Times, Los
Angles Times and the Washington Post.
In 2000,
Bob had a photo exhibition at
the SoHo Black & White photo gallery,
New York, N.Y. , to honor the elegance of the female navel. This project
paved the way for
Babies in Bloomtm.
